Honeylocust

Honeylocust was a band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1996. A part of the third wave ska movement of the 1990s, their unique musical style was based on ska and incorporated elements of punk, reggae, and hardcore. Notable influences included Mu330, Five Iron Frenzy, and The Aquabats.

The band was known for dealing with issues and themes related to the Christian faith. Their national debut, This Weekend, was released on Screaming Giant Records in 1999. The group disbanded in 2000.
