Horace White

Horace White (October 7, 1865 - November 26, 1943) was a Governor of New York. He is the nephew of Andrew D. White. He attended Union College, where he joined the Kappa Alpha Society.

White was born in Buffalo, New York in 1865. He was a leader of the Liberal Republican movement in 1872. He was a member of New York state senate between 1896 and 1908. Then he became the Lieutenant Governor of New York and served between 1909 and 1910. Then he served as the Governor. He died in New York City in 1943.
