Hum on the map of Croatia

Hum (Italian: Colmo) is a tiny town in the central part of Istria, north-west Croatia, seven kilometers from Roč, 14 km southeast of Buzet on a hill above the Mirna valley. The elevation of the town is 349 m. This small fortified habitation has maintained all the features of mediaeval urban architecture and organization.

With a population of only 22 people, it was named the smallest town in the world by Guinness World Records, notwithstanding that many places actually have smaller populations.
