Identity deception

Online identity deception games include activities such as trolling, where one tries to alter the perception of one's identity by others. The goal of these games is to exploit users who cannot perceive the difference between the physical world and the internet, where anonymity is key. Unlike in the physical world, where your identity is tied to your appearance as well as your actions, you can be anybody you want online, where you are defined by your actions.
