Ince-in-Makerfield

Ince-in-Makerfield, usually known just as Ince is a town and residential suburb of Wigan in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan in Greater Manchester, England. It is just to the south of Wigan proper, and until 1974 constituted an urban district. It is served by Ince railway station.
It is currently in the Makerfield district, but if proposed boundary changes are confirmed by the Boundary Commission for England, Ince-in-Makerfield will be moved into the neighbouring Wigan seat.
