The Innviertel (literally German for the Inn quarter or district) is an Austrian region south-east of the Inn river, belonging to the state of Upper Austria and bordering the German state of Bavaria. The other three quarters of Upper Austria are Hausruckviertel, Mühlviertel, and Traunviertel.

Innviertel belonged to Bavaria until 1777. After the War of the Bavarian Succession it was ceded to Austria. It returned to Bavaria in 1809 and again was ceded to Austria in 1816.

Major towns in Innviertel include Schärding, Ried im Innkreis and Braunau am Inn.de:Innviertel
