[edit] Courses Offered and Curriculum
In contrast to other educational institutes, the Integral University curriculum revolves solely around Wilber's own writings and philosophy, in which AQAL methodology is brought to bear on a variety of disciplines for personal, academic, and professional development.
Integral University aims to provide a number of accredited degrees and programs through partnerships with Fielding Graduate University (including a Master’s program in Organization Management and Development), and John F. Kennedy University, which has an Integral Studies Department explicitly based on Wilber's AQAL system, and will offer with Integral University a Master’s degree in Integral Theory.
[edit] Criticism
The Integral artist Matthew Dallman was the original director of the Integral University's Integral Art Center, but instead of a center of learning and revival of the Humanities, he discovered it to be a marketing and PR organisation to publicise Wilber's products.
Following the Wilber "Earpy" controversy, Michel Bauwens raised the possibility that Integral University would become "a means of self-reinforcement of an already agreed-upon consensus", rather than a classic academy which will be based on peer-review On the logic of cultism at the Integral institutes.
