Ishidoriya, Iwate

Ishidoriya (石鳥谷町; -chou) is a town located in Hienuki District, Iwate, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 16,343 and a density of 137.83 persons per km². The total area is 118.57 km².

Ishidoriya is sister cities with Rutland, Vermont.

As of January 1, 2006, Ishidoriya town has merged to become part of the new city of Hanamaki.
