Ito (伊都郡; -gun) is a district located in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.

As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 31,495 and a density of 95 persons per km². The total area is 333 km².

• On October 1, 2005, the village of Hanazono merged into the town of Katsuragi.
• On March 1, 2006, the town of Koyaguchi merged into the city of Hashimoto.
