Jane Irwin Harrison

Jane Irwin Harrison (18041845), who married William Henry Harrison Jr, was the daughter-in-law of William Henry Harrison, ninth President of the United States. She acted as his official hostess during his brief tenure in office, which lasted for a month in 1841. President Harrison's wife, Anna Harrison, was too ill to travel when her husband set out from Ohio for his inauguration.
