Jennifer Berry

Jennifer Berry (born January 13, 1983) was crowned Miss America on January 21, 2006, at the age of 23, becoming the fifth Miss Oklahoma to do so. Berry was born in Houston, Texas, USA, to parents Tom and Kay Berry, and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has one married sister, Kim.
Berry graduated from Jenks High School in 2001, and attended the University of Oklahoma with a major in elementary education. She hopes to attain a Masters in education and become an elementary school teacher. In 2005, she was the winner of the Miss Oklahoma competition.
Her Miss America platform issue is Building Intolerance to Drunk Driving and Underage Drinking, and adoption.
