Johann Bernoulli

He was employed by his student, Guillaume de l'Hôpital, whose name is still associated with the solution to 0/0 limits (L'Hôpital's rule), which was probably discovered by Bernoulli. After de l'Hôpital's death, Bernoulli claimed to be responsible for most of de l'Hôpital's textbook on calculus.
Bernoulli proposed a fluid energy perpetual motion machine.
