John FitzGerald, Baron FitzGerald

John David FitzGerald, Baron FitzGerald, PC (181616 October 1889) was a British judge and politician.

FitzGerald was born in Dublin. He was Member of Parliament (MP) for Ennis from 1852 to 1860.

He was Solicitor-General for Ireland in 1855 and 1856, and Attorney-General for Ireland from 1856 to 1858 and 1859 to 1860. He was also Judge of the Queen's Bench.

On 23 June 1882, he was made a life peer with the title Baron FitzGerald, of Kilmarnock in the County of Dublin. Six days later, he was appointed to the Privy Council of the United Kingdom, having already been appointed to the Privy Council of Ireland in 1856.
