Jojima, Fukuoka

Jojima (城島町; -machi) was a town located in Mizuma District, Fukuoka, Japan. On February 5, 2005 the town merged with three other towns into the expanded city of Kurume, Fukuoka and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 13,772 and a density of 783.39 persons per km². The total area was 17.58 km².
