Juha Salminen

Juha Salminen (born September 27, 1976 in Vantaa) is a Finnish enduro rider. He is an 11-time World Enduro Champion and has also won the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in 2000 (125cc) and 2002 (400cc). In addition to his own titles, he has won the Team World Championship for Finland in 1998, 2002, 2003 and 2004. After yet another successful season in 2004, Salminen wanted a new challenge and moved to the United States to drive for KTM in the GNCC series. He won nine of the series' 13 races and became GNCC Champion in his debut year. He was crowned both "AMA Amateur Athlete of the Year" and "GNCC Driver of the Year", chosen by fellow compatriots. He is currently leading the 2006 season with seven wins and two second places in nine races.
