Kakuda (角田市; -shi) is a city located in Miyagi, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 33,890 and the density of 229.64 persons per km². The total area is 147.58 km².
The city was founded on October 1, 1958.

Kakuda is currently in a sister city relationship with Greenfield, Indiana. Each year, a small group of high school students from Greenfield and Kakuda are chosen to travel to each sister city, respectively, free of charge, thanks to local donations. The sister city program began in 1990 and continues today.
