Kaolin

Kaolin is a french rock band with various musical influences, but they are resolutely attached to their mother tongue. Their style ranges from the most atmospheric post-rock to rageful power-pop, though these simplistic tags do no justice to their melodic touch.

They remain firmly rooted in their native region, Auvergne, where they work on their music in the town of Montluçon.

During their short career they have had the opportunity to work with les Valentins, Paul Corkett (The Cure, Placebo) and Dave Fidmann (Mogwai, Flaming Lips, Weezer...).

They are currently working on an album, scheduled for release at the end of 2006.
