Kardam, Prince of Turnovo

Prince Kardam (born December 2, 1962), is eldest son of the deposed tsar Simeon II of Bulgaria and his wife Doña Margarita Gomez-Acebo y Cejuela, however born after his loss of the throne. As such, he is by courtesy also sometimes styled as if being a crown prince. He is known also as Kardam of Bulgaria and Kardam of Turnovo, the latter being the title of heir apparent of Bulgarian throne.

He was born in Madrid and has a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics from Penn State University.

In July 11, 1996 Kardam married Doña Miriam Ungria y López, a gemologist and historian. They have two sons:
