Big Kenny (born William Kenneth Alphin in Culpeper, Virginia on November 1, 1963) is a member of the hit country music duo Big & Rich.
[edit] Early life
During the eighties, Kenneth Alphin was picked to run a real-estate development company created and funded by his father and another local investor. The firm was called Alphin Development. During the real estate recession of 1990, Alphin engaged in questionable accounting practices, and the company went bankrupt.[citation needed] Alphin then decided to move to Nashville to start a career in country music in 1992.
