Kid Crusader is a member of the Titans East, debuting in Teen Titans #42. Originally, the character was named "Choir Boy",<ref>Dan DiDio talks about the upcomming Titans East in DC Nation #22</ref> as stated by Dan Didio in DC Nation. However, Wizard #180 released the design of Kid Crusader, and his initial design. The character, as described by Tony Daniel, is the Hispanic arch-enemy of Kid Devil. Believing Kid Devil to be the face of evil, Kid Crusader will do whatever it takes to see that he is eliminated. A solicitation for Teen Titans #43 has referred to the character by the name of "Alter Boy".<ref>Newsarama's DC January 2007 52 (and more) Preview</ref>
