Kutte (plural Kutten) is a type of jacket worn by many punks and metalheads. A kutte is made by removing the sleeves of a jean jacket or a leather biker jacket (which is the most popular choice for a "classic look"). This actually makes it a type of vest, in the American sense of the word. Patches and buttons are then usually sewn and pinned onto them, although the leather ones rarely have patches. Paint may be applied, although it has more wide use on leather vests than denim. On the denim kutten magic marker is more often used than paint. Many other objects are attached to the kutte, which include, but are not limited to: Safety pins, chains, studs and spikes.

Kutten are still very popular today in the contemporary punk scene, though mostly found in the street punk and crust punk scene. Although regarding metalheads, they are seen mostly in the NWOBHM and thrash metal scene as well as many other styles of classic metal, rather than the heavy metal scene as a whole. Many thrash metal fans that wear denim kutten will often have an iron cross patch on the back.

The word Kutte is a loanword from the German word Kutte.
