László Fejes Tóth

László Fejes Tóth (Szeged, 12 March, 1915Budapest, 17 March, 2005) was a Hungarian mathematician who specialised in geometry. He proved that a honeycomb pattern is the most efficient way to pack equal circles in two dimensions.
