Lamella is a term for a plate-like structure, often appearing in multiples, that occurs in various situations, such as biology or materials sciences. It may mean:
- Lamella (zoology), a gill-shaped structure found within the respiratory organs or bone or nacre of an animal.
- Lamella (mycology), a "gills" or leaf-shaped hymenophore structure beneath the pileus of an agaric.
