Latino became famous thanks to the hit song "Marcas do Amor".
He was forgotten until her girlfriend, Kelly Key, exploded in 2001 with the hit single "Baba Baby" and other big hits like "Cachorrinho" and "Anjo".
His not-so-friendly divorce with Kelly Key, in 2003, made headlines. While she decided not to speak about the situation, he was all over TV talking about her.
He made headlines again thanks to the huge hit "Festa no Apê". The song, a remake of Drangonstea Din Tei from O-Zone, talked about a wild orgy. The album that contained the song, As Aventuras do DJ L (The Adventures of DJ L), went Platinum.
He also co-wrote Luka's huge hit Tô Nem Ai.
