Lee Dorman

Lee Dorman is an influential bassist who played with Iron Butterfly and Captain Beyond. He began playing bass in his teens. Dorman's performances were both musically and physically powerful, with his bass slashing the air, his feet pounding the stage and his bass notes forward in the music played by both bands.
Dorman is from St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to San Diego, California in the 1960s.
While recording In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, Dorman assisted Erik Brann with the arrangement of Brann's song "Termination."
