Lisa Hartman

Lisa Hartman (b. June 1, 1956 in Houston, Texas, USA) is an actress.

She made her television debut in 1977 in the TV flop Tabitha; the belated spin-off of the 1960s sitcom Bewitched. Lisa played the now grown-up Tabitha Stephens, who tried making it on her own without having to use her inherited powers of witchcraft. In the middle of her series run on Tabitha she had a prime time special called The Lisa Hartman Show. The series ended in 1978 after only one year. She co-starred with Catherine Hicks and Veronica Hamel in the 1981 TV remake of Jacqueline Susann's Valley of the Dolls. She played singer/actress Neely O'Hara, who had been played in the original 1967 film by Patty Duke.

She then acted in the primetime soap Knots Landing as rock singer Ciji Dunne (1982-1983). After Ciji was murdered, fan reaction prompted Hartman's return to the series the following year, this time as Ciji's lookalike, gospel singer Cathy Geary (1983-1986). In 1991, she married country star Clint Black. Now credited as Lisa Hartman-Black, she has made a number of TV movies and recorded several CDs. In the music industry, she is most noted for singing a duet with her husband entitled When I Said I Do.
