This is an alphabetical list of all astronauts, cosmonauts, and taikonauts who have flown above the internationally recognized 100 km boundary of space. Names in italic are astronauts that have left Low Earth orbit.
The article on space disasters lists people who died during spaceflight attempts or while training to become astronauts. As of 2006, a total of 450 people had travelled to space.
