Little Missouri National Grassland is a National Grassland located in North Dakota, USA. It contains over 1 million acres (4,000 km²) within its area. Within the grassland is located adjacent to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, however is managed by Custer National Forest. A predominant feature of the Little Missouri National Grassland is colorful and beautiful badlands, a rugged terrain extensively eroded by wind and water. It is a mixed grass prairie, meaning it has both long and short grass.
