Ljusterö

Ljusterö is an island in the Stockholm archipelago of Sweden, that belongs to Österåker Municipality. With an area of 62 km², it is the 17th largest island in the country. The island is easily accessed from the mainland by regular ferries. It has around 1,500 permanent residents and 30,000-40,000 visitors during major holidays, also known as "badjävlar" and "turister" such as summer vacation.
