Lockheed Martin Aerospace Electronic Systems

Lockheed Martin Aerospace Electronic Systems was a division of Lockheed Martin. Following a strategic review of Lockheed's businesses in 1999 the division was identified as a candidate for disposal. BAE Systems completed its acquisition of AES in November 2000.

The group encompassed Sanders, Fairchild Systems and Lockheed Martin Space Electronics & Communications.
Following the BAE acquisition AES was renamed BAE SYSTEMS Information and Electronic Systems Integration. Following an internal reorganisation the division became BAE Systems Electronics and Integrated Solutions.
