Lost Highway Records

Lost Highway Records was a Nashville based subsidiary of Universal Music until it was merged into Island Def Jam Records. The label was started in 2000 by Luke Lewis. Lost Highway is named after a Hank Williams song.
Notable artists include Willie Nelson, Elvis Costello, The Jayhawks, Golden Smog, Johnny Cash, Lucinda Williams, Ryan Adams, Lyle Lovett, Van Morrison, Tift Merritt and Mary Gauthier. Additionally Lost Highway distributes the soundtracks for O' Brother, Where Art Thou? and Deadwood. Additionally they will be releasing the sound track for Open Season by Paul Westerberg
