Love. Angel. Music. Baby. is the debut solo album by American pop–rock singer Gwen Stefani. It was released by Interscope Records on November 23 2004 (see 2004 in music). It topped the chart in Australia and reached the top five in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States. It received two Grammy Award nominations.
The album spent sixty-eight weeks on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart and sold more than 3.7 million copies, being certified triple platinum. In Canada it spent seventy weeks on the albums chart and sold close to 500,000 copies, and was certified quintuple platinum.<ref name=can-sales>Canadian CRIA certification</ref>
As of late 2006, it had sold approximately six million copies worldwide.<ref name=mediatraffic>[1]</ref>

In addition to artists who are explicitly credited on the album inlay, Stefani had a number of other artists involved in either the writing or performing of the songs on the album, including Peter Hook and Bernard Sumner of New Order on "The Real Thing". These artists are credited on the album's website. Linda Perry also worked with Stefani on several tracks for the album, though none appeared on the final LP in the forms demoed/recorded by Perry.

- "What You Waiting For?": the album's first single occupied the Australian Singles Chart number-one position for two weeks. The dance song was a club success across the world and features 21C production.
- "Rich Girl": the second single samples "If I Were a Rich Man" from Fiddler on the Roof. It was a top twenty success across the world.
- "Hollaback Girl": the third single occupied the U.S. Hot 100 number-one position for four weeks. Elsewhere, it was less popular. The composition includes drums, piano and saxophone, and was the first U.S. digital download to sell one million copies.
- "Cool": the fourth single occupied the Canadian Singles Chart number-one position for two weeks. Elsewhere, it performed moderately. The lyrical content chronicles Stefani's realtionship with Tony Kanal.
- "Luxurious": the fifth single occupied the Portuguese Singles Chart number-one position for one week. Elsewhere, it was far less successful than its predecessors. It samples The Isley Brothers' "Between the Sheets" and features many major scale instruments.
- "Crash": the sixth single was released in lieu of Stefani's pregnancy. It was not promoted and received minimal radio and television airplay.
- "Serious" was supposed to be released as the sixth single, but this never materialized. A music video was filmed that will appear on Stefani's upcoming tour DVD.
