Lovedean is a small village located in Hampshire in southern England. It is north of Portsmouth, over Portsdown Hill. The nearest town neighbouring Lovedean is Waterlooville.

The village of Lovedean is situated around the main road Lovedean Lane, which is at the bottom of the valley after which it is named (dean is from the old English word Denu meaning valley).
There is a well used village hall and two pubs, the 'Green Dragon' and 'The Bird in Hand' and a few shops.
