Lune or Luna is a poetic name for Earth's Moon.

It is also:

• A river in the United Kingdom: River Lune

• The name of some natural features in J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth:
  • the river Lhûn or Lune,
  • the Gulf of Lune, and
  • the Ered Luin, sometimes called "Ered Lune", the Blue Mountains.

In mathematics, a lune is the area on the surface of the sphere between two great half-circles on the sphere. See the Mathworld article on "spherical lune".

In real tennis, a lune is a point scoring opening in a jeu quarré court.
