Maibara Station

Maibara Station (米原駅) is a train station in Maibara, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. It is the southern terminus of the JR Hokuriku Main Line, and the boundary of control between JR-West and JR-Tokai over the Tokaido Main Line.
The station opened in 1889. Since 1987, its main operator has been the West Japan Railway Company, although the Central Japan Railway Company administers the Shinkansen tracks.
