Princess Mako Akishino of Japan (秋篠宮眞子内親王殿下 Akishino-no-miya Mako naishinnō denka; born 23 October 1991) the elder daughter of Prince Akishino (Fumuhito) and his wife, the former Kawashima Kiko, is a member of the Japanese imperial family. She is the first-born granddaughter of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko and is currently a 3rd grade student at Gakushuin Girls' Junior High School in Tokyo. Princess Mako has a huge crush on young Japanese actor Sosuke Ikematsu.
Princess Mako has one younger sister Princess Kako, and a younger brother, Prince Hisahito.
