Man and Nature is a book written by George Perkins Marsh in 1864.
It documents the effects of human action on the environment.

The book consists of six chapters:
- Chapter I - Introductory.
- Chapter II - Transfer, modification, and extirpation of vegetable and of animal species.
- Chapter III - The Woods.
- Chapter IV - The Waters.
- Chapter V - The Sands.
- Chapter VI - Great projects of physical change accomplished or proposed by Man.

It was also translated into Italian by Marsh in 1870.
