Marignane

Marignane is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône département and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southern France. It is a component of the metropolitan Marseille Provence Métropole, and the largest suburb of the city of Marseille. It is located to the northwest of Marseille. In the 1999 census, Marignane had a population of 34,006.
The Aéroport de Marseille Provence is located in Marignane, as is Eurocopter, builders of the Franco-German NH-90 Tiger military helicopter.
