Maritime Telephone and Telegraph Company

Maritime Telephone and Telegraph Company (MT&T, later MTT) was founded around 1910 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and operated as such until 1998 when it merged with Island Telecom, NBTel, and NewTel Communications to form Aliant.

Payphones in Nova Scotia are still MTT-branded.
