Maryculter

Maryculter or Kirkton of Maryculter is a village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
It is sometimes called "Culter", although Peterculter near by is also nicknamed this. The River Dee runs between it and Peterculter and the B979 road runs through it. There are no shops but there are two Hotels, The Old Mill Inn and Maryculter House Hotel. Also the children's theme park - StoryBook Glen is located near the old church which is still in use today as a Church of Scotland.
