Matthew Taylor (politician)

Matthew Owen John Taylor (born 3 January 1963) is a politician in the United Kingdom. He is Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Truro and St Austell in Cornwall. He was first elected to Parliament in 1987, in a by-election following the death of David Penhaligon.
He stood for the deputy leadership of the Liberal Democrats in March, 2006 and came second in the ballot.
On being elected, he became the "Baby of the House", holding the title for 10 years.
