Mayakoba Classic at Riviera Maya

The Mayakoba Classic at Riviera Maya is a PGA Tour golf tournament which will be played for the first time in the week of February 19-25 2007. It is the first PGA Tour event to be played in Mexico. It will be an alternate event played the same week as the WGC-CA Championship. It will be a FedEx Cup event, but like other alternate events it will only count for half points. The prize fund will be US$3.5 million, making it the richest golf tournament in Mexico. [1]
