Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania

Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania is a small village located in Upper Makefield Township, Pennsylvania. Formerly known as "Taylorsville", it is most famous for Washington's crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas of 1776 during the American Revolutionary War. It is also the location of the headquarters of Washington Crossing Historic Park. It is directly across the river from Titusville, New Jersey to which it is connected by the Washington Crossing Bridge.
