[edit] Plot
It has been 5 years since the alien seeking agents averted an intergalactic disaster of epic proportions. Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) since returned to the comforts of civilian life while Agent J (Will Smith) continues to work for the Men in Black, the highly funded agency that secretly monitors and regulates alien activity on Earth. While investigating a seemingly routine crime, J uncovers a diabolical plot by Serleena (Lara Flynn Boyle), an evil Kylothian monster who disguises herself as a lingerie model. It's a race against the clock as J must convince K — who not only has no memory of his time spent with the agency, but is also the only person alive who has the expertise to save the galaxy — to reunite with the MiB before Earth is destroyed.

[edit] Trivia
- Because of the time that had passed between MIB and MIB II, makeup had to be used to recolor Frank the Pug's muzzle, which had gone mostly white in the interim.
- The climax of the film was originally to have taken place at New York City's World Trade Center. However, this had to be changed following the destruction of the buildings in the September 11, 2001 attacks.
- The Men in Black were parodied in an episode of The Fairly OddParents in which when Timmy Turner makes Mr. Crocker's fairy godparents go away, Jorgen Von Strangle and a group of fairies in black suits come down and take out gold gadgets like neuralizers and flash Mr. Crocker's memory away.
- The neuralizer makes an appearance in Family Guy, in the episode "From Method to Madness". It's used to wipe away Chris' memory of a family of nudists.
- Michael Jackson makes an appearance as an agent reporting to the MIB as 'Agent M'.
- Will Smith used The Rock's catchphrase. "Layeth the smackethdown on your candy ass!"
