Mercuries (IPA: /ˈmɜːkjəri/) constitute a genus (Mercurialis, IPA: /məˈkjuːriˌɑːlɪs/) of plants of the family Euphorbiaceae (Spurge), which includes slender herbs (forbs), rhizomatious perennials and woody perennials. There are 8 to 10 European species (depending on classification) and 1 Asian species.
