Meteren in the municipality of Geldermalsen.

Meteren (51°52′N 5°17′E) is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Geldermalsen, and lies about 10 km west of Tiel.

The village Meteren has a population of around 3210.<ref name="CBS2">Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Statline: Kerncijfers wijken en buurten 2003-2005.
