Metis can refer to a number of things:
- Metis meant "cunning" or "skill" in Ancient Greek. In the Odyssey, Homer plays upon the confusion between me tis, "nobody", and metis, one of Odysseus' traditional epithets.
- Metis (mythology), a Titaness and the first wife of Zeus
