Michael Ausiello, Senior Writer TV Guide and TVGuide.com Michael Ausiello joined TV Guide in 2000 and is senior writer for both TV Guide magazine and TVGuide.com, where for the past six years he has developed a reputation for breaking the hottest television stories. In fact, Michael’s online press tour diaries have become a popular diversion when the Television Critics Association convenes every summer in Pasadena.
Michael is the voice behind “The Ausiello Report,” the popular weekly TV Guide magazine column, and “Ask Ausiello,” a witty Q&A between Michael and his loyal online fans, which is posted every Wednesday. A second version of “The Ausiello Report” is posted on TV Guide.com and doubles as the web site’s most popular blog. Michael can also be heard every Friday with his colleagues on TVGuide.com’s weekly podcast.
His numerous television and radio appearances include “Today,” “Good Morning America,” “Fox & Friends,” CNN’s “American Morning,” “Inside Edition,” “Extra,” “Access Hollywood,” and “Entertainment Tonight.” Michael is a regular guest every Friday morning on Sirius Satellite Radio's popular morning show, "OutQ in the Morning" (Channel 106) with host Larry Flick, where they dish with callers about all things television -- the shows, the stars, and the plot lines (including the scoops and spoilers Michael is known for).
Michael delivers “The Big 5” television moments of the week every Thursday evening at 8 PM ET on the TV Guide Channel program "The 411," and has even appeared on episodes of the popular shows "Gilmore Girls", "Veronica Mars", and "Scrubs"
Prior to joining TV Guide, Michael spent three years as the senior news editor of Soaps in Depth magazine and served as media relations coordinator at “Entertainment Tonight.”
