Michael E. Davis is treasurer for the Wikimedia Foundation and Chief Operating Officer of Wikia, Inc. He is a graduate of Williams College and the University of Chicago and was formerly the CEO of Chicago Options Associates, a futures and options trading firm in Chicago.
Davis was named in a novel judgement in Illinois where, in a civil judgement against him, the court ordered Davis' attorney to turn over the retainer funds deposited by Davis in anticipation of legal services.<ref>Dowling v. Chicago Options Associates</ref>
He currently lives in St. Petersburg, Florida.
