Michael Steele (musician)

Michael Steele (born on 2 June 1955 in Pasadena, California, USA) was a bassist, songwriter, and singer with The Bangles. Born Susan Thomas, she began her professional career as Micki Steele<ref>The beat behind the Runaways. The Times/The Australian (2006-10-27). Retrieved on 2006-11-13.</ref> in the teen-girl band, The Runaways. She replaced Annette Zilinskas in The Bangles in 1983. During the band's breakup she played in several other groups like Crash Wisdom. Steele joined The Bangles again when they reformed, and left the group again in April 2005.
